Preserving What Matters Most
Photography has changed dramatically since Ivey Photography first opened its doors in 1977, but one thing has never changed: great photographs matter.
A meaningful portrait is more than a file on a phone. It's a memory preserved, a milestone celebrated, and a piece of your family's story that can be shared for generations. Whether we're photographing a graduating senior, a championship team, a growing family, or an entire school community, we believe every image deserves the care and attention it takes to become something truly lasting.
For nearly 50 years, Ivey Photography has served families, schools, athletes, and organizations throughout North Texas. Founded by Ray Ivey and relocated to Midlothian in 1999, the studio has become one of the region's most trusted photography companies.
In 2009, local photographer Chris Smith purchased the studio and began building on the legacy established by Ray. Today, Ivey Photography serves thousands of students, families, and athletes each year while remaining committed to the same values that have guided the company since 1977: exceptional photography, outstanding service, and genuine relationships.
