Frequently Asked Questions
QUESTION: Do you charge a session fee?
ANSWER: We now charge a $75 session fee for weekday appointments and a $100 session fee for Saturday appointments.
QUESTION: How much is your minimum order?
ANSWER: As of May 1st 2010, we no longer have a minimum order for a regular portrait session. We do have a minimum order requirement on some of our Senior Sessions, as well as some of our discounted Children's programs.
QUESTION: How much are your packages?
ANSWER: We sell custom products designed for your home. There are no "packages"at Ivey Photography. We are photographing for YOU and we do not believe you fit into a PACAKGE. Do we offer some incentives and discounts for purchasing more? Sure, but we do it with your specific images and products, not a list of products we THINK you need.
QUESTION: What if I am not happy with my photos?
ANSWER: We guarantee our work with the Three R's. Reshoot, Reprint, Refund.
QUESTION: How do I order my prints?
ANSWER: Each session is followed by a dedicated ordering session, approximately one week after your session. You will be asked to select and purchase your products at this time.
QUESTION: Who should I bring to my ordering session?
ANSWER: Bring anyone who has a financial or emotional interest in your portraits. Try to leave small children at home, as you will need to focus on your images to make the best decision for your order.
QUESTION: How long do you keep images available for ordering?
ANSWER: You can re-order images you purchased for 90 days from your ordering session date. Prices are subject to change.
QUESTION: I want to get a family portrait made. How much will it cost?
ANSWER: We build custom products for your home using images from your session. Larger spaces take larger products. Smaller spaces take more creativity to fit the images you want. We want you to go home with the products and images that are right for you, your lifestyle, and your spaces. Every sale is different, because every session and every family is different. Gift Print prices begin at around $50, and Wall Portraits start at $295.
QUESTION: It looks like your prices have changed. Can I still get the price you offered earlier?
ANSWER: Our prices are subject to change without notice. The price you pay is the price listed on our master price list on the day of your ordering session. Our prices usually change once a year, in January, but it is possible for us to make minor adjustments throughout the year.
QUESTION: I want to have my Senior Portraits made there. How much will it cost?
ANSWER: For the Class of 2011, we have three different sessions for Seniors. Our mini sessions require an $150 minimum order. Our Half Session requires a $250 minimum order, and our Full Sessions require a $400 minimum order. What you ultimately spend depends on the length of your session, the number of outfits, and the products you choose. Call us for a complete consultation and we can give you a complete price guide.
