Ivey Photography Studio began through the eyes of a young Navy photographer, Ray Ivey. Ray and his wife, Janie, founded the studio in 1977, on Elm Street in downtown Dallas. In 1999, they moved to the current studio location in Midlothian, Texas. The primary focus is Bridal & Wedding Portraiture; Individual, Family & Children Portraiture; and High School Seniors. The studio also provides a custom and ready-made frame shop for the convenience of their clients. In 2001, Ray Ivey passed away after a short illness. The studio remains in operation today with a staff of qualified photographers. Janie, the studio's current owner continues to use her twenty-eight years of experience to operate the studio in a professional and friendly atmosphere.
